Olive branches represent peace, the background color represents harmony, and the hand represents Israeli person’s hand holding map of Israel. We know and love Israel as we know and love palm of our hand. In the middle us the dome of the rock which sits on top of Kotel ha-Maaravi the holiest site for our religion Judaism. Israel is the safe heaven for all Jews. Without Jews we don’t have a motherland or protection. Palm of our hand as we know and as we love, also is the symbol of Israel holding us and protecting us. And the map shows what we were promised by G-d, land of Israel. Land of peace and harmony which is for all Jews. The message is, Israel is the land where Jews are protected and loved and belong.
