We worked in class on the postcard and chose to represent the Eiffel Tower to say that we are in Paris and that we are sending a card for Israel's birthday. I put the map of Israel, the flag and the yellow ribbon for the hostages. I put hearts to show that I love Israel. Israel is the country of the Jews. I wanted to show the joy of celebrating Israel's birthday and also the love and union with Israel. The heart of the 1980 poster was my inspiration.
