The project was about making a greeting postcard for Israel's 76th birthday. I remembered the flag, the geographical map. I added candles, like for a birthday, balloons and I made an acrostic with the word Israel. Israel is a Jewish land and the State of Israel is the only Jewish state in the world. My link with Israel also goes through part of my family who lives there. I want to send a message of hope and peace. The primary sources that inspired me are: the crossword with the 1949 flag and Mia Lipsey's card.
