I represented the Atomium monument, on a base with the number 76, decorated with an Israeli flag. I think my poster answers the question "How does Israel shape my story?" because it shows how my two cultures, Belgian and Jewish, intertwine to create something beautiful and meaningful, represented by the Atomium decorated with the Israeli flag. For the question "What values does Israel represent today?", my poster expresses the idea of unity and diversity, because it shows how two cultures can coexist harmoniously and contribute to the richness of society. The idea I expressed in my poster is that Israel, with its 76 years, represents unity and diversity, just like the mixture of my two Belgian and Jewish cultures, symbolized by the Atomium decorated with the Israeli flag. I was inspired by The Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty, Poster, 1994: observing the Israel-Jordan peace treaty. I thought of two countries and I wanted to make the link between mine, which is Belgium, and Israel.
