Our poster about Israel has a few major elements. One includes two hands holding flags together. The two hands represent all people who love Israel and are willing to hold it up. The second element is the flag of Israel. The flags of Israel represent Israeli independence. The last symbol is the number 77, which represents the birthday of Israel. Our poster explains one of the values that Israel stands for: unity. We illustrated two people holding the Israeli flag together to show that. We think this shows that people around the world support Israel. It also shows that people who love Israel unite to support each other and their country. Also, we drew the number 77 to celebrate Israel’s birthday to represent how people around the world are celebrating Israel together. The message that we are conveying with our poster is that people who love Israel are not alone. Another message is the number 77 on the flags that they are holding. This shows that this year is the 77th year of Israeli independence. We were inspired by Amsellem Emmanuelle's drawing. We liked her idea of the hand being a flag as well as a hand, so we took it and put our twist on it by making it a hand holding the flag.
