The message of this poster is to show strong Jewish pride and support for Israel in a meaningful and respectful way. In the middle, the gold Chamsa with the yellow ribbon inside of it and the Israeli map outline represents hope and a reminder of the hostages who are still in danger.
We put the Chamsa in the middle since it stands for good luck and protection and that the hostages come home soon. Around it we added some classic Jewish stuff like a Menorah, Tefillin, and the Star of David which remind us of our culture and where we come from. In one corner there's an Israeli flag and on the other side we added a prayer for the soldiers to show support and keep them in our thoughts. This shows that we pray for the safety of the soldiers as they protect the country.
Lastly, we added “venomar amen” in Hebrew in big letters to tie the project together and show our respect for Israel. All of these elements come together to celebrate Israel’s independence. The poster shows the strength and resilience of the Jewish people. It also reminds us that Israel is not just a place, it’s a symbol of hope, identity, and strength.
On Yom Ha’atzmaut, this poster helps show how much we value the State of Israel and how proud we are to stand with it. We were inspired by old Yom Ha'atzmaut posters.
