My poster displays a lone figure emerging from a battleground, holding an Israeli flag and walking towards a light. Above the figure are the words, “We will never give up.” All this is meant to represent Israel rising up from their past and heading towards a brighter future. I chose this theme because Israelis have always inspired me with how they never give up, even with all the wars they are forced to fight. They have been thwarted again and again, and each time they rise, battered and worn, but not defeated. And each time they build higher and higher, stretching towards the sky. This is why I drew inspiration from the war. The values that Israel represents today are perseverance, determination, and resilience. My poster shows that even with death and destruction behind it, or even with it actively going on, Israel is ready to move on and rebuild. I have, countless times, been incredibly awed by its refusal to give up its rightful land to others. My poster recognizes this with the words, “We will never give up”, showing that we are ready to fight for our land. In conclusion, my poster shows many values that Israel excels at, that have always inspired and encouraged me. The message I am trying to convey with my poster is that Israel always perseveres, no matter what; the person in my picture has mass devastation behind them, and yet they are holding the Israel flag high and proud, undefeated. The message is to never give up, never let the other side win, and to always keep going, no matter how hard. This is the message I am hoping others will glean from my drawing.
