Our poster shows the Western Wall, the Dome of the Rock, and the streets of Jerusalem, symbolizing Israel's deep historical and spiritual importance. The number 77 marks Israel's 77th Independence Day. Two doves represent peace, while the crowd with Israeli flags symbolizes unity and pride. We added Israeli flags and symbols to show our celebration and connection.
The entire class worked together, sharing ideas and drawing different parts, to represent how Israel is built on community, teamwork, and shared identity. Israel is a central place for Jews around the world - it is a homeland, a symbol of hope, strength, and connection. In our poster, the Western Wall and the crowd of people show how Jews from all over come together in this sacred place.
Our teamwork reflects how Israel unites Jewish people through shared values and support. Israel plays the role of a home that welcomes all Jews, just like we welcomed everyone's ideas when creating our poster. Our message is that Israel is a place of unity, history, and peace. It shows that when we come together with love and respect, like we did as a class, we can create something beautiful and meaningful - just like the people of Israel have done. We were inspired by historical photographs of Jerusalem and the Western Wall from the National Library of Israel.
