Our poster is based on the Western Wall, also called the Kotel. We did the Western Wall because it is essential to the Jewish people. It’s like a big stone wall in Jerusalem, part of where the ancient temple used to be. Many people come to this wall to pray and think about their faith. We got our idea to do the Western Wall from what we learned during this past year, and because it is very holy in Israel. Israel is the ‘’Holy Land’’ a place of deep historical and religious significance. That even while we have the freedom to celebrate Yom Haatzmaut at the Kotel, we still remember the hostages in Gaza The posters we learned about in class, and the research we did during the school year about Israel.
