The major elements I chose for my poster are the values that I think Israel has, some of the holidays and the seasons that those holidays are in. The values are kindness, unity, love and peace. The holidays I chose are Hanukkah, Yom Haג€™atzmaut, Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot. These are the major elements I chose for my poster. To me, the values that Israel represents today are unity, community, kindness and love. I feel that Israel is like one big community that is kind and caring.
Something that makes me feel this way is on Yom Hazikaron at 2:00 when the whole country stops for 2 minutes to remember those who died fighting for their country. These are the values that I think Israel represents today. That Israel comes together as a country to become one to look after each other as a community. I also tried to show some of the Jewish holidays and the seasons they take place in. I was inspired by Zohar Daskal, a 7th grader from Sweden. I like the way they had a Star of David with lots of pictures behind it.
