The picture I drew is of a layered cake. Each layer is a different and important element of Israel. For example, the first layer is to represent Jerusalem, so I drew the Kotel. The second layer is a place everyone likes to visit, so I drew the Dead Sea. The third layer is representing the IDF since they have been keeping our land safe. The fourth layer is the culture of Israel. I drew a Magen David and a menorah. For the last layer I drew a hostage symbol. I got this idea because when we normally celebrate someone or something, there is always some sort of cake involved. Each layer shows Israel's identity, and when I think of Israel, those are the first five things that come up. I am conveying my connection to Israel. I used Yom Ha'atzmaut Posters as inspiration.
