The milk and honey (speech bubbles) is the best part because that is how the Torah describes the land of Israel. The person in a wheelchair reminds us that we have to include everyone. The flats show that Israel is our homeland and we are safe and comfortable there although it's at war.
The dove shows how peace is important to the world. We are still waiting for our hostages to come home, every single one of them, and that is why the Israeli flag is hanging by the two yellow ribbons. The role Israel plays in the Jewish world: the land of Israel is not just any land. It is a gift from HaShem to us, the Jewish people. It's where our ancestors walked and lived. It's where so many parts of the Torah happened. The Kotel reminds us that after so many years the Jewish people are still strong, still here and still proud.
The message is how important it is being together, friendship. When you are together you are strong. If someone is feeling sad, being together with friends can help them feel better. If we want to make a difference, we can do so much more as a team! We were inspired by the 11th Yom HaAzmaut poster, 1959, where a boy is waving a flag from his window and the shatters are in the shape of eleven. This went great with the idea of the building flat and the 77 Yom HaAzmaut!
