I chose to include Hatikvah because there are still hostages in Israel and I feel that they are being forgotten because of everything else happening in the world. Israel is a big part in the Jewish world because it is home for thousands of Jewish people. I have shown different messages throughout the canvas. The first message in the poster is about the hostages that need to be freed, this is shown in the Hatikvah and the yellow ribbon. The next message that I have shown is with the necklace and Israel in between. This shows that Israel is the home for Jews. The star of David is the symbol for Jews and that is why I used it.
