I drew the Star of David on my poster. There are many people holding hands around it, and I added more people holding hands at the bottom of it. I wrote יום העצמאות (Independence Day), and drew balloons in blue and white. The main point of my poster is to show how on Yom Ha'atzmaut, all of the Israeli people celebrate the important day together. The balloons are for Israel’s birthday, and they help emphasize the happiness of the day. Israel now, and has always represented, the unity and the care that people take of each other. Israeli people constantly help each other and their communities with anything. Especially now, in days of chaos, every Israeli is taking their part in helping the country and the people, whether it’s big things like going to the military, or smaller things like making food for the soldiers and donating. Everyone cares for each other, and when someone needs help or support, everyone around him are happy to help. That is one of the many Israeli and Jewish values, and in my opinion, friendship and community are very important and powerful values. In my poster, I’m conveying the message that Israelis are good at sticking together when things get tough. The people of Israel will always hold hands and support each other at all times. Ingrid Trandafir- In their poster, they drew a family sitting together and hugging. This relates to my poster because everyone is together, like how in my poster, the people are holding hands together.
