The name of our poster is Celebrando Yom Haatzmaut ( Celebratin Yom Haatzmaut). It shows the Western wall of Jerusalem, people celebrating Independence Day and People Praying. You can also see the yellow ribbon of hope and the flag of Israel. There is cake, balloons and confetti. The Western Wall is a place to pray for peace and well-being. It is a reminder of an ancient temple, very important for Jewish people. They are celebrating the freedom of the country, where people can carry on with their traditions. Everybody should enjoy peace, that everybody can have their own country and be free. We were inspired by the lesson plan Descubriendo lo personal detras de lo historico.
