We made this artwork as a special tribute to Yom Ha’atzmaut, also known as Israel’s Independence Day, and its 77th anniversary. To celebrate Israel’s 77th birthday, we put a big “77” in the center of the artwork. The left side of the number has important Hebrew phrases that show the strong connection between the Jewish people, their faith, and the land of Israel. One example is the phrase "Am Yisrael Chai”, which means “The nation of Israel lives.” It stands for the strength and survival of the Jewish people. On the right side, we filled the number with Jewish symbols that represent different parts of Jewish tradition and Israeli culture. These include a menorah, Shabbat candles, the Torah, a dove for peace, and more. These symbols show how Jewish identity brings together the past, present, and future. The background of the artwork is the Kotel, one of the holiest places in Judaism. It reminds us of the deep connection between the Jewish people and the land of Israel. Overall, this artwork is a meaningful way to show faith and national pride.
