The primary medium I used was markers. The major elements I added to my poster are; the word independence written in Hebrew, the words we love Israel in also written in Hebrew as well as the word love drawn as a heart and finally the two major visual components of my poster are the sun and the sea. The values that Israel represents today that show in my poster are tranquility,happiness,freedom,independence and love. Through my poster I emphasize the importance of enjoying life and the need to take a break every once and a while. More specifically I depicted people taking it slow and hanging out in the sea. My Art teacher showed me several examples of primary sources from the nli for this project. The one that inspired me the most was the 17th Idependence day stamp, 1965.
