The role that Israel plays is that the Jewish people can celebrate their religions in peace. Israel shapes my Jewish story because my brother had his bat mitzvah there and I feel very connected there. The value of Israel today is that people can go there to pray and to be safe. The message my poster has is that everyone is welcome in Israel. The poster that inspired me was the tree because it inspired me to make something that made everyone look connected. And they are.
